REGION READY

Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) are delivering the Region Ready pilot project across our region thanks to funding from the State Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
The aim of this project is to link jobseekers to regional employment opportunities, assist employers to better understand and more easily access the migration program, and work with regional stakeholders to welcome skilled migrants and domestic relocators to the Limestone Coast.

Employer of Choice Program
A key focus of this project is the delivery of an Employer of Choice capacity building program for business owners and operators. In a globally competitive jobs market, we want our Limestone Coast businesses to stand our from the crowd. We will be seeking expressions of interested from employers that would like to participate in the one-day workshop and ongoing mentoring.

Specialist Seminars
Over the next 10 months we will delivering a series of seminars on a range of topics of interest to business owners and operators. In May we delivered a Specialist Seminar on 'Demystifying the Migration Program' where we looked at visa options for employers if you missed this session we have a recording available HERE.

As this event was very popular, we are delivering another Demystifying the Migration Program session, this time focusing on employers in the Health Care and Social Assistance, and Child Care sectors. This session will be delivered online at 10am Thursday 1 September, more details to come soon.

Job Search
If you know someone that is looking to move to the Limestone Coast, we are able to assist by connecting them to current vacancies and employers that we know are looking for skilled workers. RDALC maintain a free Job Board for vacancies from across the region.

If you are interested in attending the next migration seminar, participating in the Employer of Choice Program or have topics that you would like to be included in the presentations, please contact Hayley on hayley@rdalc.org.au or on (08) 8723 1057.
