- The Small Business Fundamentals Drought Program offers free mentoring, workshops, advisory services, and practical assistance to small and family businesses across the region. We understand the impact drought has on our community, and these services are designed to help you navigate those challenges with confidence.

- What to expect
- 1. Reach out to RDALC using the online form, by calling (08) 8723 1057, or emailing info@rdalc.org.au.
- 2. During an initial visit or call, we will talk with you to understand your challenges and opportunities, the impact that drought is having on your business and your eligibility for the Drought program. Any Limestone Coast business not eligible for the drought program can still access support through the RDALC Business Support program sponsored by Local Government.
- 3. We will follow up by booking your first mentoring session, where we can talk through your needs in a confidential setting with an action-based approach. Where we do not have the expertise to help you, we may introduce you to a relevant government or private service.
- 4. We will continue to support you through your business journey, with events, mentoring, and advisory services that help you to achieve your business goals.
- Whether you are just starting out, looking to grow, or preparing to transition, we deliver one-on-one mentoring across the Limestone Coast from Bordertown and Penola to Robe and Port MacDonnell. Support may include business planning, marketing strategies, cash flow management, workforce planning, or connecting you with relevant government grants and programs.
- This program is dedicated to building business resilience, tackling local challenges, and uncovering new opportunities for growth. By working directly with you, at no cost, we develop strategies that reflect your business goals, local conditions, and long-term vision.
- Delivered locally by RDALC, the Small Business Fundamentals Drought Program is an initiative of the Government of South Australia’s Office for Small and Family Business, funded through the State Government’s $73 million Drought Support Package. Business support for those not impacted by drought is supported by the seven Limestone Coast Councils.
