The Regional Growth Strategy has been prepared by Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC), Limestone Coast Local Government Association (LGLGA) and Councils to support the Region’s growth and prosperity.
The Strategy has been informed by economic research and input gathered from our community, industries, and stakeholders.
The strategy outlines four long-term goals for the region, with progress to be driven over the next five years through regional initiatives, collaborative advocacy, and priority Council and RDALC projects. These goals focus on creating:
• A region people love to live in
• A productive region that people love to work in
• A region people love to visit
• A region enabled by quality infrastructure.
It aims to balance preserving the region’s strengths with embracing new opportunities for sustainable growth. Priority areas for action include housing, services, training, tourism, value-add industry, the circular economy, roads, and utilities.
